Faithful Assurance

Crackle Crunch
Crunch crackle
Rake those leaves
Bake those apples

Close your eyes, breathe in
Open your eyes, breathe out
Go outside
And walk about

The air is chill
The days grow short
Pull out those sweaters
Pour some port

Chop some wood
Stoke that fire
Wrap and snuggle
Watch the flames shoot up higher

The day is now done
The night is now upon you
Outside all is silent
Sit and enjoy the venue

Settle in and rock
Your eyes slowly close
Resting assured
In God's arms you do doze
