As we get older, the more we have to pee
More often to the ladies room do we flee
When we wash our hands or the dishes the urge begins
The bathroom starts calling,"Come right on in"
Since when did our bladders take over command
And when in bed, well enough said, but man oh man
When you pass middle age say 50 or more
You just can't hold it like you did before
You can do your kegels but that doesn't matter
You may think you're finished, but oh no, not your bladder
You turn or you bend and it still dribbles out
Invest in poise pads but when they run out
You use extra toilet paper that inevitably falls out
So as we get ready to go out the door
The words of our parents come back to us one once more
"You better go before we leave so we don't have to stop."
Any more we need to go or we might need a mop
Yes, as we get older the more we have to pee
Just pray it doesn't rain or woe is me!
