Walking in My Winter Underwear

Wind chimes clang outside my window
While in my yard sleet, ice and snow blow
This storm has lost its charm
But I'll be safe and warm
Walking in my winter underwear

Cars are skidding, sliding sideways
There's no snow plows on the byways
I want to go outside, but it's toasty here inside
Walking in my winter underwear

I could wear three layers, be a snow beast
Run outside and tunnel through the snow
Would I have some fun no, not in the least
I'd freeze my eyes, my mouth, my ears and nose

When it snows it ain't thrillin
When my nose gets a chillin
I'll stay safe and warm
Inside sheltered from the storm
Walking in my winter underwear.
