I'm Going To Do It

I'm going to do it when I get around to it

Now since I do own a round toit

and I only have one

Then the long and challenging deal will be done

I'll look through my saved pictures and books

I need inspiration for just the right look

First, lay down a background mysterious and charming

Then add an eye catching subject so disarming

 I'm going to do it

When I get around to it

I'll set my paints and pallets, brushes and tools

Atop a work station with a padded chair

Not a painfully hard metal step stool

Yes, I'm going to do it

Now that I'm putting my mind to it

But you'll just have to wait and see

How creative my painting will be
