Pondering old sketches

While searching for plastic covers for one project
I unearthed a sketch book from my past
In the 80's and 90's I was young and into love and art
Passion was the wind  that whipped the sails on my mast
Nature as I would have it, and photographs like it was
Beauty in the ordinary, splendor to behold
Fanciful and real life stories told
Living in the present
Giving voice to the past
So many characters to add to the cast
Such beauty astounds me
Did I really create that?
Good memories come bubbling back
Dances, parties, singing and friends
No room here for alas and alack
Good times only, don't dig deeper than that
Sketches and good memories, no regrets and that's a fact!
