Beach Snippets of Florida

Blowing, rolling, foaming
Seagulls cry, crabs go roaming
Salty, gritty, sharp and clear
Ice castles dancing on the horizon

Early morning mist burnt off
Buoys marking space and time with incessant clanging
Pelicans glide by in formation like shore patrol
Watching for opportunities to dine
Most times on what fishing boats leave behind
