Learn to Relate

If here is where we learn to live and relate
Shouldn't we do so in a reverential state?
Being mindful of our obvious blessings
This doesn't mean that there won't be testing.
Blessings are not always feel good situations
In fact most times they are challenges for our needed maturation

Life's lessons must be devoured and digested, for only then can we learn
Our blessings are eternal, not bridges to be burned.
Our real life is supernatural, within and beyond our sight
God's Son and prophets exist to help us find our inner light
Though darkness surround us, God's light of love keeps us warm
Life may throw us bumps and bruises for our bodies
But through God's infinite mercies our spirits are safe from harm
