Well, you made it through another year!
I'll bet that's news you're grateful to hear
With all the prayers and doctor's visits, never fear
Your health will grow stronger, so be of good cheer!
Your positive attitude and ready smile
Shows you're determined to stick around for a while
And your hair and nails, oh my what style!
You'd never know you've been through such trials
Your strength comes from God, your family and friends
And your zest for life seems to have no end
Your childlike joy and wonder manages to transend
The anger and hate that seems now the trend
Although we are moving, not too far, just away
We can and will visit again some day
Until then I'm glad that we are able to say
"My friend we're glad you've stuck around to enjoy another day!"
