Peace With an Attitude

Writing should have within it universal appeal and shared truths
The following are some truths as I see them:

Good exists therefore God exists
Evil exists therefore demons exist
Jesus was born, lived, was crucified and rose from the dead
Therefore He still lives on in heaven and through His believers
As should be witnessed in their behavior

Life is frequently unfair, and we should thank God for that
If we lived by receiving what we deserved
There would be a lot more weeping and wailing
God’s love is immeasurable as is His mercy
“Glory be to God!”

We are God’s children and some of us get stuck in rebellious adolescent thinking
Such as, “I’m my own person and I don’t need to hear from God.”
To ignore God is to ignore your true self
God is life, God is growth

Life is eternal and can be one gigantic challenge after another
You need to keep on praying and keep on listening to God
Even if you hate the answers
You will receive what you need to grow in God’s wisdom

Taking time to listen to God is to be anointed with joy
Joy is that small inner voice of peace
Peace that brings love and extinguishes fear and anxiety
Joy can be elating or calming but always enduring

Peace is not just the absence of war
Peace at the cost of your trust and dignity is suffering
True peace is the calm in knowing God loves you and is always with you

True joy is the knowledge that in the end you have a place of love to come home to .
